When I first looked at the video, this is what I see. The car comes crashing in and the mom jumps out of the way leaving the child behind for a second before checking where the child is.
You decide, did this mother in the Dunkin Doughnut store in P.A. jump out of danger before thinking of the child? If I am wrong, I apologize but, this is the impression that I get on first view.

It is impossible to say what any of us would do in an extreme situation. Luckily the child moves on his own and by the looks would not have been injured even.
