Another week of auditions is under way and there is a lot of competition. I would like to include all that I believe did well but I've decided to limit it to those who make a real impression. First things first. Those who can not sing. I am talking about those that could not carry a tune if you put a handle on it. You and I both know these people exist in our everyday lives and yet most know they can't sing. These have to be put in by the show.Either way, if they are true or stunts by American Idol, why take up precious air time to show us. When it comes to Hollywood week there are going to be contestants who you have not seen simply because they took so much time with back stories of those who have had some kind of tragedy, or showing an audition of someone who, in no way, shape or form was ever told by anyone that they could sing. Then there is the reaction from the judges. On one the camera showed Mariah Carey cover her ears, on another Randy Jackson covered his laugh and on and on and then they say to them "who let you in here" and "you need to look for some other career" or like last night "NEVER". if THESE ARE ON THE LEVEL AUDITIONS, DOESN'T THIS BORDER ON BULLYING? To post them hitting every note but the right one or some who change key in the middle and then poke fun? Then there are the ones that didn't do too bad and are on the way out and crying and the camera follows them even when they are asked not to. What would American Idol do if one of these people, after seeing themselves embarrassed on a nationally viewed program, commit suicide over the embarrassment? Remember the nurse that took the ribbing over letting the radio show talk to the duchess's nurse? They may want to stop , at least with the ones you know thought they had a shot and didn't make it this time and are clearly upset. Onto the ones that impressed me. take a look.
