From The Los Angeles Times online :On Thursday, the folks behind CouponCodes4u.com made a bold prediction: They say the Kindle Fire HD will outsell the iPad mini by 2 to 1.

To back up that claim, the coupon clearing house website cited data collected from its website that shows nearly twice as many searches for the words "Kindle Fire HD" compared with "iPad mini" in the last three weeks.

From Amazon: Founder and CEO of Amazon sat down today to speak of this years sales and the Black Friday coming up on The Today show with Matt Laur. He believes that the big box stores have forced him and others like him to re-think and re-package and basically "think outside the box" and he believes they have the answer. Firstly they have begun shipping the Kindle fire a week earlier than they had reported and according to them they have it figured out because they are selling it at cost with hopes that you will buy your e-books @ amazon.
