 Let me start by saying that I don't subscribe to everything that Dr. Phil Mcgraw has to say in his television show nor that everything on there is as desperate as they sometimes dress it up to be but, I think he has hit the nail on the head with this latest book Life Code.
         As is implied in the title of the book, it is a code by which you need to govern your life by. I've often given my children or younger generation people I know that same kind of advice but, without a degree it would be going backwards for me to write a book on it as I would be seen as a fraud in todays media when simply, if you agree with someone's advice you should promote it as much as NBC has done. If you've ever viewed the Dr. Phil show I'm sure you would agree that sometimes he goes a bit over the top over something not so big. If you have never watched, you may want to to get an idea of the Author of this book "Life Code".
        Let me break it down for you. He basically says that if someone is controlling you by means that are sometimes very subtle that puts them in charge of your every waking moment then you may need to get away from them or at least change up the association so as to put you back in the drivers seat. He tells us that everywhere you may go in your life, there is a chance you will become associated with one of these types of people.

1. Backstabbers
2. liars
3. cheats
4. frauds
5. embezzlers
6. womanizers
7. man-eaters
8. controllers
9. abusers etc...

The list can go on and on. This is common advice that every parent should brace their children about and prepare them for the real world. I do have to disagree with Dr. Phil in his synopsis of his book when he tells people that life or the people in it are not like what momma told they were.He maybe right in my mothers case whereby she look's for the good in everyone first and offers too much insight into her life to people she barely knows and believes in trusting someone until they prove to be a fraud. I once told her she needed to get a number and address for the rock she is living under. My belief is to trust no-one until they earn that trust and then keep your eyes wide open. Simply because if you are a sweet enough conquest, one of these people will work hard for a long time to earn your trust and when access is granted, BOOM!!!!! I think I could write a book on this based not soley on life experiences but also on experiences I've witnessed.

      Dr. Phil's Life Code explains how people will work into your life and control it.That before you know it you are part of a life that you never expected, you are doing things that go against every fiber of your being to please someone that has taken control of your life. They will use and abuse you without you even noticing sometimes.

      The show where Dr. Phil's Life Code was introduced to me was on the other day where a woman was considering to wed a man who cheats on her sexually with women and men and he chokes her and hits her from time to time to make her do the things he wants.Dr. Phil offered and was accepted some help for this man to change his way with the promise that he would not contact her until Dr. Phil and staff said it was safe enough to do so.What is wrong with this picture? If you want a life code I will give it to you here.

When this man goes into that Dr.'s office and the door shuts behind him, consider that being the close of the chapter in that part of your life girl. BE DONE WITH HIM!!!!

        Dr. Phil has his Life Code and it is a good advice book for people who need someone with a degree to tell them the why's and wherefore's of life if you want to delve into why someone will do this to you but, here are some words of wisdom to live by that have been around a long time. They are some old yet inteligent cliche's to be my life code.

1. A leopard does not change his spots
2. Beware of strangers bearing gifts
3. If it sounds too good to be true, it is
4. No-one can use you unless you give them permission
